At Cottman Transmission, your satisfaction and the quality of our workmanship are our highest priorities. We proudly stand behind our repairs with the following warranty coverage:

🔧 Standard Warranty Coverage

All eligible transmission repairs performed by HG Transmission are backed by a 24-month / 24,000-mile limited warranty on both parts and labor — whichever comes first.

🚛 Commercial Vehicles

For commercial vehicles over 1-ton Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR):

● Warranty coverage is limited to 6 months on parts and labor, or 6 months parts-only if sold over the counter.

🚗 Towing Coverage

Towing is covered only within the first 30 days of the warranty period and must be pre-approved by HG Transmission. After 30 days, the customer is responsible for all towing and transportation costs.

⚠️ Warranty Limitations

Warranty coverage does not apply in cases of:

● Misuse or abuse, including racing, overloading, burnouts, power braking, or aggressive off-road use

● Neglect, such as driving with known issues, overheating, or failing to maintain proper fluid levels

● Unauthorized modifications or aftermarket components that interfere with transmission function

● Damage caused by incorrect installation, contamination, or third-party programming

● Any work performed by another shop or individual without prior written approval from HG Transmission

🔁 Rework & Warranty Repairs

● Any rework performed under warranty does not reset or extend the original warranty.

● If rework is completed during the final 90 days of the warranty, the rework itself will carry a limited 90-day warranty from the date of completion.

📝 Customer Responsibilities

To maintain warranty eligibility, customers must:

● Retain their original invoice

● Notify Cottman Transmission before having any third-party work or diagnostics performed

● Allow Cottman Transmission the first opportunity to inspect and resolve any issues
