OUR HISTORY
Founding:
Cottman Transmission was founded in 1962 on Cottman Avenue in Philadelphia, growing from a single shop into a premier North American franchise. The brand brought its specialized transmission and total auto care services to the Triad in 2002, expanding to Winston-Salem in 2012.
A New Era of Quality Care
In June 2024, local owners Dan and Bud purchased the Greensboro and Winston-Salem locations. Driven by a passion for integrity, they are building on previous succeses through major shop upgrades:
